Backed is a monthly Shark Tank style event in the Esports Hub Discord. Teams, agencies, and businesses pitch their idea to our investor panel for funding. There is one event per month, and applications open between rounds.

## How it works

From application to funded in one month.

    Our team reviews every entry and shortlists the strongest pitches for the next event. Shortlisted founders get a prep call before pitch night.

    Take the stage in the Discord on the scheduled night. Pitch your project, take questions, and get an investment decision on the call.

## Who can pitch

Esports teams, agencies, and businesses (tools, content, apparel, hardware, and other esports-adjacent products). You don't have to be an existing Esports Hub partner to apply.

## Cadence

Backed runs once per month, live in the Esports Hub Discord. Applications open between rounds and close a few days before each event so the panel has time to review.

## Cost

Applying and pitching are free. Backed is a deal-flow event, not a paid service. If you get backed, the investor or investors coordinate directly with you to close the deal. Esports Hub does not take a cut, we run the event and surface the deal flow.
