# Giveaway Picker

> Pick winners from a public Twitter/X post, apply entry rules, and share a saved result.

Giveaway Picker collects entries from a public Twitter/X post and draws winners from the eligible accounts in that scan. It is separate from Esports Hub's activity-based [Community Giveaways](/giveaways).

## Start a draw

## Entry sources and limits

Replies, Reposts, Quotes, and Replies & reposts together can be used on every plan.

Each scan expires after 60 minutes and allows at most five draws, subject to your account's remaining allowance. A new scan uses the scan allowance again.

Reply scans require a post from the last seven days. Repost and quote scans have no age limit. Likes are not an entry source.

  A scan is not guaranteed to contain every entrant. Collection limits and unavailable X data can produce a partial pool. Check the scanned count against your plan's entry limit before drawing, and tell entrants about relevant limitations in your giveaway rules. The saved draw record notes when a draw used a limited pool.

## Filters

You can filter by minimum follower count and account age (older than one week, one month, six months, or one year), exclude specified usernames, and choose whether previous winners can win again.

Four account rules help keep throwaway accounts out of a draw:

* **Profile picture** requires a picture of the account's own, not X's default one.
* **Bio** requires something written in the profile.
* **Minimum posts** requires the account to have posted at least that many times.
* **Followers to following** compares the two numbers. "At least 1x" means the account has as many followers as accounts it follows; accounts that follow thousands of people to be followed back fall below it.

An account rule only appears as a choice when the scan includes the detail it needs. If a field reads "Not in this scan", that detail was not available for this post and the rule is left out of the draw. When a rule is on, an account whose detail is missing does not pass it. The count under the rules shows how many accounts still match before you draw.

**Must follow** is part of Plus and Premium. It takes up to three X usernames. A winner has to follow every one of them. The picker checks this on the accounts it draws rather than on the whole pool, so the count of matching accounts does not change when you add it, and a draw with this rule takes longer. If none of the accounts checked follow, draw again to check others. When the field is switched off, the follow check is not available at that moment and draws run without it.

Reply and quote entries also support a keyword and minimum mentions. Reply entries add a choice of which replies count. **To the post** counts only replies made directly to your giveaway post. **Whole thread** also counts replies to other people's comments under it. These filters do not apply to repost entries. In combined mode, an account can qualify through a repost even if its reply does not meet a reply-only rule.

Repeated entries do not give an account extra chances: each eligible account gets one entry. The post's author is excluded.

A minimum follower count checks the size of an account's audience. It does not verify that the account follows you.

## Redraws and failed requests

Use Redraw when you intentionally want a new result. Each successful draw gets its own ID, and earlier results remain in the scan's history.

If a request fails and the page offers Retry this draw, use that option to recover the same attempt. Do not start a separate draw just because a response is delayed.

If the scan expires, scan the post again. Any previously saved draw link remains separate from the new scan.

## Shareable records

Every draw gets a 13 digit draw ID. Share the draw link, or give people the ID to enter under Check a draw on the picker page. Links made before draw IDs became numbers keep working.

The draw link lets people inspect the saved result and its recorded settings. It records what was drawn from the scanned pool; it does not prove that every X entrant was collected or that every giveaway condition was independently checked.

You are responsible for your giveaway's rules, eligibility, winner contact, and prize delivery. Review the result before announcing it.
