Every member of the Esports Hub Discord server agrees to follow the server rules. We use a 3-strike system for most rule breaks, with instant bans for the more serious ones.

Strike system

StrikesWhat happens
1 strikeA warning is logged on your account. If you keep breaking rules, the next strike adds up.
2 strikesA second warning. Depending on what happened, you might also get a temporary mute or cool-off.
3 strikesPermanent ban from the server, the website, and any paid services on your account.
Some rule breaks skip the strike system and go straight to a ban. These include doxxing, threats of violence or self-harm, scams, and anything that could get the platform in legal trouble.

The rules

The full list lives in the rules channel on Discord. Quick summary:
  • No discrimination - based on race, sexuality, gender, disability, religion, or body shape.
  • No spamming - mass messages, mass reactions, mass pings.
  • No threats or harassment - including jokes about self-harm.
  • No doxxing - don’t share another member’s personal info.
  • Follow Discord’s rules - you also agree to Discord’s Terms.
  • Use the right channels - keep things on-topic for the channel you’re in.
  • No money requests - no begging, donations, loans, or asking for in-game items.
  • No gambling content - no betting, casinos, or lotteries.
  • English only - so the whole server can follow along.
  • No invite links or ads - to other Discord servers or unsolicited promotion.
  • No scamming - fake vouches, chargebacks, impersonation, phishing links.
  • No verification dodging - getting around verification or coming back after a ban with an alt is an instant ban. See the Verification page.

How to appeal a strike or ban

If you think a strike or ban was a mistake, you can appeal:
  • Through the contact page: open an appeal at esportshub.io/contact.
  • Through Discord: if you still have access, open a Server Support ticket and use the appeal flow.
An admin will look at your appeal and reply within 7 days. The decision is final unless you have new info to share.
If you’ve been banned, your verification data is still kept for up to 7 years so the ban can’t be dodged with a new account. If your appeal is approved, your access is restored. If it’s not, the ban and the data retention stay in place.

Reporting someone

See someone breaking the rules? Open a Server Support ticket through the support panel rather than DMing staff. Tickets keep everything in one place so the admin handling it has the full picture. Include:
  • Who’s involved
  • What channel it happened in
  • A short description, plus a message link or screenshot if you have one
Reports are looked at in the order they come in, with serious stuff handled first. The full ticket flow is on the Support & Tickets page.
