Creating a Resume

Getting started with your first resume takes just a few steps. You can create multiple resumes for different purposes.
1

Open the Resume Builder

Navigate to the Resume Builder from the sidebar. If you have existing resumes, they will be listed in your gallery.
2

Choose a template

Browse the template carousel and select one of the pre-built templates designed for esports use cases. You can also choose the Blank template for full creative control, or upload an existing resume file.
3

Edit in the canvas editor

The editor opens with your selected template. Add your information, rearrange elements, and customize the design to match your style.
4

Export or share

Your resume saves automatically as you work. When ready, download it as a PDF or generate a share link.
You can also import an existing resume by uploading a PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, or MD file (up to 10 MB). The content will be imported so you can continue editing it in the canvas editor.

Templates

There are 11 templates to choose from, each designed for different esports roles and styles. Templates range from clean minimal layouts to bold two-column designs with accent colors.
  • Role-specific designs - Templates are tailored for roles like content managers, team managers, esports analysts, tournament organisers, and operations directors.
  • Pre-built sections - Each template includes structured sections for experience, skills, achievements, education, and contact information already laid out. Just fill in your details.
  • Fully customizable - Starting from a template does not lock you in. Every element can be moved, resized, recolored, or deleted in the editor. Use the template as a foundation and make it your own.
  • Blank canvas - If you prefer to start from scratch, the Blank template gives you an empty page with no pre-built content.

Editor

The Resume Builder uses a canvas-based editor that gives you precise control over your layout. It works like a lightweight design tool where you can position elements exactly where you want them, adjust sizes visually, and see your changes in real time.
The editor requires a desktop screen. It is not available on mobile devices due to the canvas-based interface.

Toolbar

The top toolbar provides access to all editing tools and actions:
  • Insert elements - Add text blocks, shapes (rectangles, circles, lines), and images to your resume.
  • Text formatting - Apply bold, italic, underline, and change alignment. Adjust font family, font size, and text color per element.
  • Color picker - Choose from preset colors or set custom colors for text and shape elements.
  • Undo and redo - Step backward or forward through your editing history.
  • Zoom controls - Zoom in for precise placement or zoom out to see the full page layout.

Canvas Controls

  • Drag and drop - Move any element by clicking and dragging it to a new position.
  • Resize handles - Grab the corner or edge handles to resize an element. Hold Shift to maintain the aspect ratio.
  • Layer ordering - Bring elements forward or send them backward to control overlap.
  • Keyboard shortcuts - Copy (Ctrl+C), paste (Ctrl+V), duplicate (Ctrl+D), delete (Delete key), and arrow keys for precise positioning.
  • Multi-page support - Add, remove, reorder, and hide individual pages for multi-page resumes.
  • Auto-save - Your work is saved automatically every few seconds. A save indicator in the toolbar shows when changes have been saved.

AI Guide

The editor includes an AI-powered guidance panel that analyzes your resume content in real time and provides actionable feedback to help you improve it.
  • Quality checklist - Automatically checks whether your resume has complete contact info, a filled-in summary, experience with dates, strong action verbs, measurable results, and consistent formatting.
  • Warnings and tips - The AI highlights specific issues like placeholder text, missing metrics, weak language, or incomplete sections. Each suggestion includes a short explanation and points to the exact text in your resume.
  • Text highlighting - When the AI identifies a problem, it highlights the relevant text directly in the editor so you can find and fix it quickly.
Toggle the AI Guide on or off from the toolbar. It is most useful after you have filled in your core content and want to refine it before sharing.

PDF Export and Sharing

When your resume is ready, you can download it as a PDF or share it with others through a link or directly with specific users.

Downloading as PDF

Click the Download PDF button in the toolbar to export your resume. The PDF preserves all fonts, colors, images, and formatting. Multi-page resumes are exported as a single PDF file with all visible pages included.

Sharing Options

Click the Share button in the toolbar to open sharing options. You can control who sees your resume:
  • Public link - Set visibility to “Anyone with link” to generate a shareable URL. Anyone with the link can view a read-only version of your resume in the browser without needing an account.
  • Share with specific users - Search for users on the platform by email or username and give them view access. Shared users can see your resume from their account.
  • Private - Keep your resume private so only you and anyone you have explicitly shared it with can see it.
Public links make your resume visible to anyone with the URL. If your resume contains personal contact information, consider whether you want it publicly accessible. You can switch between public and private at any time.
